OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Ape Entertainment is devoted to the production of high-quality original graphic novels, comic books, and illustrated fiction.

Founded in 2003, Ape Entertainment is the brainchild of comic's devotees David Hedgecock, Brent Erwin and Mike Hall and home to such popular titles as GO-GO GORILLA AND THE JUNGLE CREW, SULLENGREY, POINT PLEASANT, and HORRORWOOD.

MIKE HALL << Huggable Bear Mike Hall is the product of an unnatural union between a human woman and a strange visitor from the furthest reaches of outer space. Dedicating his supernatural abilities to the goal of total world domination, Hall has chosen the field of comics as the perfect forum from which to subvert young minds to his cause. In truth, Mike is a 30-something writer and cartoonist who has known since he was four years old that he wanted to make comics, but along the way found himself sidetracked by ill-fated careers as a musician, a historical re-enactor, and a professional fighter. With his wife and three children having convinced him to curb his more dangerous tastes in entertainment, Mike now dedicates himself to the creation of the finest comics and games that his punch-addled brain can come up with.
