Pocket God Comics Goes Sharktastic with “Gem Cell Research: Part 2 of 4”

SAN FRANCISCO - May 9, 2012 – Ape Entertainment and Bolt Creative announced today that Pocket God Comics issue No. 16 is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. In part two of “Gem Cell Research,” the girls’ gem is still in disrepair and the only way to fix it is with a laser.
The only way to get the laser is to catch the Laser-Shark, but is that really such a good idea? Are they going to need a bigger raft, or just end up as shark-bait? Nevermind that… who is Linsee cuddling up with? And how is Nooby’s new see-weed buddy doing? All these questions and more are answered in this Sharktastic Laserific issue. Ape Creator appearances on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY

May 5th is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! It's also an unofficial party-holiday in the comic industry. And to celebrate, many of the APE Creators will be making public appearances, signing books and just being a nuisance in general!

Mt. Prospect, IL: Russell Lissau will be signing STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE comics at Comix Revolution from 10AM to 2PM.
Skokie, IL: Bob Renzas will be at the opening of Aw Yeah Comics!
Seattle, WA: Georgia & Scott Ball will be at The Toonies Awards Banquet that evening. Show starts at 6:PM.

APE ENTERTAINMENT DRAWS SESAME STREET

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - April 06, 2012 - Ape Entertainment announced today that they have entered into a licensing agreement with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization, to produce a series of print and digital comic books featuring the cast of the beloved children’s show Sesame Street. The new and original comic book series will emphasize educational and entertaining content for younger readers.
From television to the comic panel, Ape Entertainment will portray the characters that millions of parents and children have come to know and love in a comic series that will be produced in full color and available in stores this fall in standard comic sized printed editions for $3.99 and digest sized hardcover comic book editions for $7.99.
